  • John Bryan State Park  (Yellow Springs) - stunning gorge hiking along the Little Miami River, dramatic limestone cliffs, and some of the most scenic trails in southwestern Ohio
  • Red River Gorge (Kentucky) – world–class hiking, climbing, and natural arches 
  • Brown County, Indiana – artisan shops, scenic drives, charming small towns; often compared to a Midwest Gatlinburg 
  • Christmas, Indiana – unique seasonal destination worth a day trip
